Francemise Kingsberry is a graduate of the Educational Administration and Supervision Program at North Carolina State University with a Doctor of Education. She currently holds a North Carolina Superintendent's License. She also received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) and later, earned a Master's of School Administration degree from UNC-CH in 2009. She is an adjunct assistant professor at UNC-CH, has served as an elementary and middle school teacher and an assistant principal. Her academic work centers on equity and social justice, resiliency, women in Higher Education, urban education, and educational leadership among other things.
Dr. Kingsberry is also a motivational speaker and preacher with a mission to evoke and reveal beauty in nature and to bring healing to others by challenging and inspiring them through creative and prophetic expression. She and her husband, Hassan Kingsberry, Esq. served as founders and pastors of a church for 10 years. She currently resides in Wake Forest, NC with her husband and two children.
